Indian Runner Ducks are one of the world’s most distinctive duck breeds, instantly recognised by their tall, upright posture and energetic personalities. Rather than waddling like most ducks, they seem to “run,” making them a constant source of entertainment around the homestead.
Highly active and inquisitive, Indian Runners are excellent foragers and enjoy spending their days searching for insects, slugs, and other garden pests. They are also productive layers, capable of producing a large number of delicious eggs throughout the year when well cared for.
We raise our Indian Runner Ducks in spacious outdoor environments where they have plenty of room to roam, forage, and express their natural behaviours. They are friendly, hardy birds that thrive in pairs or small flocks and make a wonderful addition to homesteads, smallholdings, and family farms.
Our flock includes a variety of beautiful colours, including black, white, grey (blue), fawn, chocolate, and other colour variations depending on the breeding season.
