Description
Muscovy Ducks are unlike any other duck breed. Originally native to Central and South America, they are prized for their calm temperament, excellent foraging ability, and lean, flavoursome meat. Unlike most domestic ducks, Muscovies are quiet birds, making them an excellent choice for farms, smallholdings, and even larger residential properties.
These hardy ducks spend much of their day grazing on grass and hunting insects, helping naturally reduce flies, mosquitoes, slugs, and other garden pests. Their distinctive appearance, with striking plumage and characteristic red facial caruncles, makes them a favourite among poultry enthusiasts.
Our Muscovy Ducks are naturally raised on the Waterberg, with plenty of space to roam, forage, and enjoy fresh air and clean water.
