Description
Pomegranates are beautiful fruit filled with jewel-like red seeds called arils. They have a sweet, sharp flavour and are wonderful eaten fresh or used in drinks, salads and sauces.
Pomegranate Salad
Ingredients
Pomegranate seeds
Cucumber
Feta
Fresh mint
Squeeze of lemon
Method
Chop the cucumber and mix with pomegranate seeds and crumbled feta.
Add fresh mint and finish with lemon juice.
Tammy’s tip: Hit the back of a halved pomegranate with a wooden spoon to knock the seeds out. Preferably into a bowl, unless you’re redecorating the kitchen.
