Description
Turnips are crisp root vegetables with a mild, slightly peppery flavour.
The roots can be roasted, mashed or added to stews, and the young leaves can also be cooked as greens.
Honey Roast Turnips
Ingredients
Turnips
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon honey
Salt
Black pepper
Method
Peel and chop the turnips.
Mix with oil, honey, salt and pepper.
Roast at 200°C for 25 to 35 minutes until golden and tender.
